- Knowledge is continually assessed and at the end of each semester the council of teachers submits their assessment for each student.
- At the end of the 1st year the council of teachers decides whether the student is to be admitted to the second year. An overall average mark of 10/20 is required to pass.
- At the end of the second year, at the beginning of April, students undergo a 10-week training period in industry. This work placement is subject to a written report and is defended before a jury at the end of June.
- At the beginning of July, the teachers' council decides on whether to grant the student with the final diploma.
- Studies normally last 2 years (for initial training) , but students are allowed to repeat one year (only) out of these 2 years.
